Review Record Keeping

Capturing grades and course information in an organized fashion will create a comprehensive record of your student's high school years. This information will feed their transcript and final high school packet.

​This module summarizes what I covered in the Level 1 course for STEP 4: Recordkeeping. In order to create a comprehensive transcript at the end of the high school years, you'll need to have not only the grades and credits earned but a list of courses taken with the texts and reading lists.  I recommend that you begin with the first high school course that your teen takes, but if that's already passed, you'll want to begin now.

I recommend downloading #1) the Sample Program of Studies, which can be used as a template.  The Sample Reading List (#2) is really for your reference and to give you something to consider. The Example Step-4 File (#3) is only needed if you'd like to have something physical to look at while updating your own Student Framework.
